Kerala Kitchen: Customer’s Feedback All The Way From India

Our Delightful Visit To Kerala Kitchen

Last month my husband, Karan and I visited his uncle’s home. His uncle and aunt along with their son live in Delta, British Columbia from last 10 years. They invited us to Canada (we live in India) to let us stay there and chill.

On Friday night, we reached the Vancouver International Airport. Their son, Prince came to pick us from the airport and took us to their home. It was my first ever trip to Canada, though my brother also lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He did invite me several times, however, due to my doctorate studies, I wasn’t able to make it.

Karan’s family, (though my family too) greeted us so well. I was so pleased to meet them. They felt sorry for not being able to attend our wedding which held two months ago.
I was so tired, so, I went to sleep. Karan and family had funny conversations with the family remembering precious moments.

When I woke up the next day, there was a breath-taking view outside the view. Since it was mid of October, it was chilly outside. Suddenly, Prince decided to go out for some fun and a bit of excursion.

Prince, Karan and I got ready within a few minutes and left. After having some fun at Crescent Beach, Surrey, we’all started feeling hungry. Karan started craving for some south Indian food (he’s a huge fan of south Indian food). I and Karan used to visit a south Indian restaurant right there in Chandigarh.

We visited Kerela Kitchen for lunch which was a very popular south Indian restaurant in Surrey. The interiors were so good, offering south Indian vibes. The manager, Sudheesh welcomed so warmly. He guided us perfectly in selecting the best dish out of the menu. We got so confused about what to eat as their menu is full of hunger-satisfying food like beef fry, Kerela fish curry, Kerela style parotta, biryani, dosa, thali and Indian curries.

We ordered chicken biryani, Mysore masala dosa, prawn kothu parotta along with vegetable stew, papad, and Indian salad. Trust me guys, the food was more than awesome. The hot-piping chicken biryani was finger-licking. I have never had such an amazing biryani before. If you like nuts in your biryani, go for it.

Though vegetable stew seems to be overcooked, it was not bad as well. I really appreciated Prince’s decision to take us there.
Besides that, the service was also fast. Staff was speaking so politely with all the customers. I feel this is the second most important factor a customer judge.

And what’s more? I am so in love with the place that I sometimes request my husband to visit Canada again just to have that biryani.
I would highly recommend Kerela Kitchen, Surrey to visit at least once whenever you visit Surrey or might be native there.

A huge thanks to the customer from Kerala Kitchen Surrey for giving us feedback in a leading daily in Kerala.
